It can be done in two ways:
1) Tank a season, get the #1 overall pick, draft a young stud, and wait a couple years while he matures. Call this the Lebron James, Tim Duncan, or Greg Oden method.
2) Tank a season, fail to get the #1 pick, and trade for two megastars who want to win now and have a lot to prove. Call this the Boston Celtics method, who now have both Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to go with Paul Pierce. Wow. There are basketball fantasy teams that don’t have that much firepower.
